The Asia Chinese Film Festivalis one of the important brand activities hosted by HKIYFFA. It will be held alternately in major cities in Asia.The Asia Chinese Film Festival was successfully held for three consecutive sessions in Macau, China from 2020 to 2022. The event tends to be branded, large-scale and standardized, providing a new platform, exploring new perspectives and injecting new vitality into the development of the Chinese film industry. It is committed to building an annual event of Asia films and helping the Chinese film industry break out of Asia and go to the world.

The Asia Chinese Film Festival aims to promote Chinese films around the world, promote exchanges and cooperation among Chinese filmmakers, and enhance the global influence of Chinese filmmakers and their works; Gather the resources of Chinese film industry, innovate the allocation mode of industrial resources, and promote the high-quality development of the industry; Support the construction, publicity and promotion of film industry base (Park) and film, television, culture & tourism theme cities; Promote excellent film and television industry institutions to the industry and help the sustainable and sound development of the film industry; Promote technological innovation and help the industrialization of Chinese film industry.

In terms of film types, there are not only traditional film types such as feature films, short films, documentaries, cartoons and internet films, but also pay attention to SHE power unit, film & TV culture and tourism theme cities, Rural Revitalization works, original literature IP unit. The festival is keeping up with the pulse of the times, with a special addition of AI digital human unit to solicit relevant works and project participation; Meanwhile, all types of film and television organizations, including but not limited to film and television industry training resources, film and television production, special effects and post production services, film and television shooting venues, equipment, distribution channels, screening venues, film and television works copyright, new technologies and new methods, are specially solicited to fully participate in the film and television festival activities and realize the efficient allocation of film and television industry resources. Especially focus on collecting film and television industry parks and film and television cultural tourism themed cities, and promote excellent film and television parks and cities.
