After more than half a year of careful preparation, the 1st Hongkong International Youth Film Festival was successfully held in Hongkong, China.

The first Hongkong International Youth Film Festival opened on August 6 and closed on August 8 for three days. The red carpet, signature, awarding ceremony and group photo of the film festival show the infinite style of young filmmakers.

Children are the hope of the future. The opening ceremony of the awarding ceremony of 2019 Hongkong International Youth Film Festival starts with children’s singing and dancing program. Han Fengrong, Feng Jianming and other actors perform the dance “set sail”, which is dynamic, unrestrained and exciting; Zhang Yanni’s song “Qing Jiang Qing” is pure and beautiful, just like the sound of nature.

After finish of the performance, Mr. David Cheung, founding member of Hongkong International Youth Film Festival Association, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Empowering youth and lighting the future”.

After the awarding ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the film festival specially hired
Youth actress Ms. Ge Tian as the international image ambassador of the 2nd Hongkong
International Youth Film Festival in 2020, believing that she can live up to the trust and
contribute to the next Film Festival.
